Nike Summerjam: Australia's biggest basketball festival

Celebrating 10 years of Summerjam with Nike, Foot Locker and House of Hoops. We joined forces with the Rush Entertainment Group team to add flavour to typographic and animation to this film.

Challenge

Rush Ent. Group produced a fast-paced production for the 10th Anniversary of Summerjam. The project required motion style, typography and transition graphics for the production that embodied the project’s gritty, street aesthetic while celebrating Melbourne’s unique basketball and hip-hop culture. Our challenge was to punctuate the scenes with typographic solutions that matched the production’s pace, complemented the visuals and celebrated the suite of brands involved in the project.

Solution

We produced motion graphics that take on a frenetic, staggered style, channelling the energy of the event, adding more excitement to the production while communicating key information to the audience. The production was an incredible success in documenting the event and promoting the brands to a highly engaged audience. The visuals created reinforced the script and elevated the end product.
